Climate Change is causing more critical highs and critical lows; meaning, there will be more intense droughts and more intense storms.
Many different things will happen depending on the location of the planet. For example, in Asia coastal areas are at higher risks of flooding and people are at risk of having lack of access to fresh water.
In Africa extreme drought will severely comprise the countries access to rain fed agricultural food. In Europe frequency of flash floods will increase coupled with coastal flooding which will lead to higher rates of erosion.
In Latin America tropical rain forests will be replaced with amazonian Savannah and in North America cities will experience sweltering heat waves and a decrease in snow-pack within the western mountains.
We can expect these disasters to displace millions of people which will push them inward towards populated cities; in turn, creating metropolises and mega cities.
These problems will continue to occur as the climate changes and we have to be ready to provide aid and relief to these areas in order to minimize casualties.
These disasters can easily spread disease throughout these environments wiping out millions of people in a short time span.
